IP Address Banning (Fail2Ban)
BackIP address banning is switched off: attacks are not blocked.
Here you can view banned IP addresses, unban them, or move them to the list of trusted IP addresses.
Trusted IP addresses are never banned. Add your own addresses here, so that you are never locked out.
A jail watches the log of a service and bans the IP addresses that fail too often (e.g. wrong passwords).
A filter tells a jail which log lines are failures. Fail2Ban's and MagicHost's filters can be viewed; yours can be changed and removed.
